Hippies were part of a cultural movement that began in the 1960s, especially in the US and UK. They questioned the rules, celebrated freedom, and believed there was more than one way to live.
Why we chose it

Are you care-experienced, a lone parent, on a low income, aged 16–25 or starting your first business? Then every website is £149, however many pages or features you need. The only exception is the Shop & Log-in Website, which will be £349 for you instead of the full price of £449. Plus half-price monthly website care.

Community prices are built on trust
We don't ask for payslips, proof or paperwork. We trust you. Please only choose Community prices if they apply to you, so we can keep offering them to the next person who needs them.
Aged 16 or 17? A parent or guardian will join our first call and sign the agreement with you.
Prices include design, build and launch. 1-page, small business and bigger websites use free hosting, so your only running cost is your domain name (around £10 a year), paid by you directly. Shop and log-in websites may need paid hosting, which we'll explain before you start.

I'm Krissie, the 19-year-old behind Hippie Websites.
I'm a creative free spirit, and I know what it's like to be young with big ideas and a small budget. That's why I build quality websites from just £149, so other young people can get their ideas online without being priced out.

Do I need to be a hippie to work with you?
Not at all. The name is about the spirit: freedom, creativity and doing things your way. We build calm, professional sites just as happily as colourful ones.
Is it really live in 24 hours?
Yes, for 1-page and small business websites. The clock starts once we have your payment and everything in the brief. Bigger websites take 3–5 days and shop and log-in websites 1–3 weeks, because bookings, shops and log-ins need extra care.
I'm not in the UK. Can you still help?
Yes. We build for people in the UK, United States, Canada, Africa and anywhere else. You can pay in pounds, US dollars or Canadian dollars.
I don't have a logo or photos yet. Is that OK?
Totally fine. We can create a simple text logo and use quality stock photos, so you can launch now and swap them in later.
Can you update my site after launch?
Yes. Website care includes up to 1 hour of changes every month. Without it, we charge a fixed hourly rate for updates.
